Deadlines for Abstract Submission and Registration

Please review the payment methods, registration fees, and important notes below before registering.

Payment Methods

• For this meeting, payment of registration fees and banquet fees can only be made via online payment through Payvent or by bank transfer. Cash payments at the venue will not be accepted.
• Since mistakes in payment amounts are more likely when using bank transfer, payment by credit card is strongly recommended. If you choose bank transfer, please carefully verify the amount before making payment. Any overpayment will be refunded; however, any bank transfer fees associated with the refund will be borne by the participant.
• After completing payment through Payvent, a confirmation email including a receipt link will be sent to your registered email address.
• Registration fees and banquet fees may be paid together or separately. If separate receipts are not required, please follow the procedure for making a single combined payment.
• If you would like separate receipts for the registration fee and banquet fee, please follow the procedure for separate payments and complete the payment process twice. A confirmation prompt regarding duplicate payments may appear; please confirm and proceed.

Conference Registration Fees

*1 Graduate student non-members are charged the non-member registration and banquet fees. We encourage you to consider joining the Society (http://sesj.kenkyuukai.jp/special/?id=2514). The annual student membership fee is ¥2,000, and there is no admission fee.

*2 Undergraduate students may attend free of charge regardless of membership status. Please present a valid student ID at the registration desk.

*3 Invited speakers for symposia and related sessions who are non-members are exempt from the registration fee; however, registration and presentation registration are still required. Banquet fees are not waived.

Banquet Fees

* All amounts shown are the total amount payable (consumption tax is not added separately).

Conference Registration Fee (Non-members): Taxable
Banquet Fee (Members and Non-members): Taxable

Presentation Awards

Oral Presentation Award

Applicants eligible for the Oral Presentation Award are students and postdoctoral researchers (including specially appointed assistant professors) who wish to participate. There is no age restriction.

At this meeting, both Japanese-language and English-language presentations are eligible for evaluation. However, individuals who have previously received an award for the same or a closely related research topic are asked not to apply.

Poster Presentation Award

All student members who apply for a poster presentation will automatically be considered for the Poster Presentation Award.

Poster presentations may be presented online, onsite, or both. However, participants wishing to be considered for the Poster Presentation Award must present both online and onsite.

FEBS Open Bio Poster Prize

Recipients of the Poster Presentation Award at this meeting will become candidates for the FEBS Open Bio Poster Prize. Prize winners will receive a certificate and a monetary award (expected to be €200).

Important Notes

Please note the following:

1. Payment of conference-related fees: As in the previous meeting, no cash transactions will be handled. Even if you wish to pay your annual membership fee at the venue, conference registration and banquet fees must be paid online. Please prepare a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners, or Discover). If you are unable to pay by credit card, annual membership fees, registration fees, and banquet fees must be paid by bank transfer on the day of the meeting. In that case, you will need to visit a bank and present proof of payment at the registration desk.
2. Childcare Service: Information regarding childcare service applications will be provided separately from participant registration. Please refer to the relevant announcement.
